New Jersey World War I Road Show

About The Event
World War I reshaped the United States and the world, and New Jersey played a significant role both before and after the U.S. officially entered the conflict. As part of a nationwide commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the U.S. entry into World War I, the New Jersey Historical Commission, New Jersey State Archives, New Jersey State Museum, Ocean County Cultural & Heritage Commission, and the Jay & Linda Grunin Foundation will present a New Jersey World War I Family Treasures Festival on April 28, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Bishop Building in Toms River, New Jersey. Attendees are invited to bring in their own World War I collections to learn more about them, and how to care for them. Experts in the history of the period, military history, genealogy, and collections care will be on hand to meet with attendees and provide information and insights.
