The inscription on this memorial, erected by The Morningside Garden Club in 1932, reads:
ERECTED IN MEMORY OF THE 22 HAMBLEN COUNTY BOYS WHO MADE THE SUPREME SACRIFICE IN THE WORLD WAR.
This memorial was restored and rededicated in 1997 by Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 5266 and two of its members, James L Dalton, Jr. and his son, Dana L. Dalton.
On a large granite boulder is a bronze sculpture of a spread-winged eagle, holding an anchor in its talons. It was created by Angelo Lualdi and dedicated on October 5, 1924, to commemorate the men and women from Hamilton who served in WWI.
This bridge is decorated with six stone columns with carved garlands, topped with metal spheres. Four bronze plaques on the base of each column state that it honors those who helped establish and maintain freedom for this country, from the Revolutionary War through WWI. It was made by the Fay, Spofford, and Thornndike engineering firm and erected in 1922.

HAMPTON FALLS HONOR ROLL
DEDICATED TO THOSE WHO SERVED
THEIR COUNTRY IN WORLD WARS I AND II
This bronze plaque lists the names of 87 Hampton Falls residents
who served in both World Wars. Including four names that were added
after the initial dedication and two service members who “Made The
Supreme Sacrifice” in World War 2.
This pristine historic building was built to honor those soldiers from Hancock County, IN
who made the Supreme Sacrifice in Defense of Freedom during the World War, 1917 - 1918.
There is a bronze memorial plaque on the building dedicated to the memory of war time
President Woodrow Wilson and a bronze Honor Roll plaque with the names of Hancock
County’s war heroes. The Honor Roll plaque was placed there by the Hancock County
Chapter of American War Mothers.
This Park was completed, and was dedicated on Saturday, May 8, 2010. While the construction has been completed, this park was designed to accomodate the addition of granite memorial bricks for as long as there are veterans in Hancock County to honor.
The Hancock County Veterans Park has been created in the way of a visible and inviting garden/park that will ensure the service of every American Veteran with ties to Hancock County will be recognized in a permanent way. To all the Fallen Heroes and all past and present service members who unselfishly served or continue to put themselves in harm's way in order that we can be free, Thank You.
A World War I soldier stands holding a flag with his left hand, with his right arm extended, hand raised in a "stop" gesture. The soldier wears a helmet and has his sleeves rolled up to his elbows. The copper painted sculpture is mounted on a square base and is surrounded by a low wall.
The memorial complex also includes monuments to other wars. The sculptor, J.A. Meliodon, was from Lincoln Park, NJ.

This memorial was dedicated in July 1920 to recognize the soldiers from the region who served in World War I. Hanna is a very small town today, and the number of names on this memorial is evidence that the town had once a significantly greater population than today. The memorial is located on the property of the old Hanna Elementary School.

Two memorials have been placed on Cynthiana's courthouse square to commemorate those from Harrison County who fought and who died in both Word Wars I and II. Only the World War II memorial lists any servicemen/women by name.
This is a standing figure of a WWI infantryman, carved of gray granite. He is standing at attention, and wears a full uniform with a Springfield rifle leaning against his right leg. It was dedicated on November 11, 1929, as a tribute to the veterans of WWI.
