Karl W. Detzer served in Two World Wars and on the Mexican Border in 1916. He solved the Mrs. Cyrus McCromick diamond case in Chicago for the Pinkerton Company. During World War 1, he headed the Le Mans District of the U.S. Army Division of Criminal Division of Investigation solving 100 murders in 100 days.
