War Time Recipes for the Holidays

 This program looks at what happened 100 years ago during December 1914. Both sides on the Western Front, stopped the war to observe Christmas. We also look at some War Time Recipes for the Holidays. Conservation Sandwiches, No.1, Simple Potato Soup and Flemish Carrots.
The next time you have a Pot Luck Dinner consider using some or all of these recipes. It's a great way to teach history.
