Dr. Edward Lengel is a military historian and professor of history at the University of Virginia.  He is the author of To Conquer Hell, The Meuse-Argonne 1918, as well as World War I Memories: An Annotated Bibliography of Personal Accounts Published in English Since 1919.  Dr Lengel's presentation to WFA East Coast recounts the dramatic action fought by the US 28th Infantry Division (Pennsylvania National Guard) in October 1918 near the French town of Apremont.
