Michigan National Guard Regiments- 32nd Infantry Division

The 32nd Infantry Division was originally made up of Michigan and Wisconsin National Guard men.These men during 1916 were serving on the Mexican Border. The Division had two Infantry Brigades, the 63rd and 64th. The 64th Brigade would be made up of Wisconsin National Guard units while the 63rd Infantry Brigade consisting of the 125th and 126th Infantry Regiments would be made up of Michigan National Guard units. The 125th from the eastern or Detroit area while the 126th was from the western side of the state.

The 119th Field Artillery Regiment was form by combining the 1st Battalion, Field Artillery, 1st Cavalry Squadron, and Headquarters and Service Companies of the 31st Infantry Regiment.
